I think I have the best job in the world! I spend my days catching up with my patients and hearing what is happening in their lives, and that makes every day something to look forward to. While getting to know my patients is a joy, I take great pride in being a resource for them and keeping them connected to their friends and families through better hearing. I truly believe relationships matter! I have even written articles for local newspapers, highlighting the need for connections with others to improve well-being. For many years, I worked in schools with children who have hearing loss. I taught future audiologists while on staff at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, and I have even done work with brain training for people of all ages. After living and working in Hawaii for several years, I am happy to be back in Wisconsin and closer to my extended family, who mean the world to me.
Outside of work, I spend my time paying attention to my most important relationships. I am blessed to have been the wife of one amazing man for more than 30 years, mother to three wonderful children (and mother-in-law to a couple of other wonderful humans who love my children), grandma to five adorable grandchildren, and dog-mom to Mikey. On the weekends, you can usually find our family golfing, biking, eating good food, or enjoying a Brewers game.
